For more than 30 years, Vintage Affair has brought our community together to celebrate hope, generosity, and the fight against cancer. Thanks to incredible supporters like you, this event has raised millions of dollars to fund lifesaving research, provide free lodging and transportation for patients during treatment, support advocacy efforts, and advance the mission of the American Cancer Society.
This year, for the first time ever, Vintage Affair and the Grand Patrons’ Dinner will be combined into one special evening on October 1st at The Country Club of Mobile. Together, we will honor the philanthropic spirit of our Grand Patrons while celebrating the lasting impact of Vintage Affair in one unforgettable, hope-filled night dedicated to ending cancer as we know it, for everyone

This year’s Grand Patrons’ Dinner will feature Dr. Brian Persing, the new Director of the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute. A board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Persing is a leader in advancing cancer treatment, clinical research, and patient-centered care throughout the Gulf Coast region. At this year’s Grand Patrons’ Dinner, Dr. Persing will share insights on the future of cancer research and treatment while offering his unique perspective on how the American Cancer Society is helping improve the lives of cancer patients right here in our community.
A special thank you to Bert Meisler, who was a pillar in our community and whose many contributions to various organizations changed many lives. Mr. Meisler generously supported the Grand Patrons’ Dinner and the American Cancer Society for more than 20 years. His contributions have made an immeasurable impact on the lives of cancer patients right here in Mobile. Bert’s generosity and spirit of community will always be remembered and celebrated at the Grand Patrons’ Dinner!
