Over the last 30 years, the Vintage Affair has raised significant funds to support research grants and local programs and services that make a real difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families. Progress is made every year, thanks to our incredible supporters and partners like you!
The Grand Patrons’ dinner is a time to celebrate the philanthropic spirit and generous nature of community leaders in Mobile and its surrounding neighborhoods. This is a time where our focus is to raise support in a big way to move the needle and join together in the fight against cancer.
We are honored and excited to announce that Dr. Amber Gordon will be sharing her personal cancer journey at this year’s dinner. Dr. Gordon is a board-certified neurosurgeon and a stage 3B colon cancer survivor, now in remission following her 2024 diagnosis. Through documenting her cancer journey, she uses her social media platforms to raise awareness and inspire others. Known for her compassionate nature, she is dedicated to caring for her patients and making a positive impact on those around her.
A special thank you to Bert Meisler, who was a pillar in our community and whose many contributions to various organizations changed many lives. Mr. Meisler generously supported the Grand Patrons’ Dinner and the American Cancer Society for more than 20 years. His contributions have made an immeasurable impact on the lives of cancer patients right here in Mobile. Bert’s generosity and spirit of community will always be remembered and celebrated at the Grand Patrons’ Dinner!
